Description

These bottle stopper blanks are made pieces of burl from various types of trees.  Mostly maple and cherry but could be other types that I have on hand.  I cast the burls in lightly dyed blue transparent resin with the live edges facing up.  When polished you see the burl figure exposed near the base with the live edge visible through the resin.  The finished stopper in the pictures is only for reference to what a finished bottle stopper could look like.  The blanks have a slight taper narrow at the bottom and wider at the top.
